Papas con Carne (Picadillo)
1 lbs. ground beef
3 large Russet potatoes, peeled and diced
½ medium onion, diced
1 tbsp. garlic powder
1 tbsp. cumin
1tbsp Knorr tomate
1tbsp Knorr pollo
1tbsp. chili powder
1 small can 4oz. tomato sauce
In a large frying pan brown the meat and drain fat place meat back onto the stove add potatoes, and onions cook until onions are translucent, add all the dry ingredients (spices) mix well, add tomato sauce to the mixture, stir well and add water about 2 inches above the food. Taste for salt if needed add just a bit more salt, cook for 10 to 15 minutes depending on how high you have the heat on the stove or until most of the liquid has reduced it can take up to 30 minutes, just cook until potato is soft.
