Chicken Gravy
1/2 c. butter or oil butter taste better
1/2 cup + 3 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. black pepper
4 chicken broth unsalted
4 tsp. chicken bouillon
add salt if needed but the bouillons have lots of salt already
Combine water and bouillon in a heatproof container heat the chicken broth and bouillon in microwave 1 minute at a time, until it is steaming hot about 3 minutes, be careful when getting it out of the microwave it can burn you.
In medium pot- melt butter and add flour mix constantly on low heat, you will start to see it brown, once you see it brown add pepper and then you slowly add in liquid mixture – whisk constantly over low-med heat until bubbly & thickened keep on adding the liquid until the gravy is to the thickness or thinness you like.
