Beef Soft Tacos
2 lb. ground beef or chicken
½ diced onion
1 TBSP. chili powder
1 TBSP. chili powder
1 TBSP. Garlic powder
1 TBSP. Cumin powder
1 TBSP. Knorr Tomate (Tomato Bouillon) powder
1 TBSP. Knorr Pollo (Chicken Bouillon) powder
½ small can of tomato sauce
1 package of corn/Flour tortillas (12 count)
1 package of corn/Flour tortillas (12 count)
Optional shredded cheese, lettuce, tomato, sour cream, avocado, salsa, and/or pico de gallo.
With all the spices you can add more or less it's to your liking.
In a large pot over medium-high heat Break the meat up, Continue to stir the meat, breaking it into smaller pieces stirring frequently, until the meat is no longer pink drain all the fat and place back in the pot add your onions and continue to cook until onion is translucent, now add all your spices, mix well add your tomato sauce and 1/2 cup of water mix well continue cooking it until water evaporates.
Fill the tortillas with the beef or chicken and serve with the toppings of your choice. Of course, you may use your homemade crispy taco shells or even flour tortillas for soft tacos, but today I bought my shells.
