CrockPot Carne Asada De Puerco

CrockPot Carne Asada De Puerco

Gather your ingredients

3 pounds pork roast
1 cup of water or more if needed
1 bell pepper sliced (seeded)
1 medium onion sliced
1 tbsp. Knorr pollo
tbsp. garlic powder
tbsp. ground cumin
tbsp. onion powder
1/2
tsp. cheyenne
1 lemon to drizzle on taco (optional)
1 Avocado (Optional)
Tortillas corn or flour or you can use Bollios

Let's get started
Turn your crockpot on high and add all of the ingredients above except the pork roast, mix well then add the pork roast.

You want the pork roast to be submerged in the liquid if it doesn't look like it's submerged add a little more water to the crockpot or cut the pork roast smaller.

Turn crock-pot on high, and cook covered, for about 4 to 5 hours or until pork roast can easily be shredded if leaving overnight cook on slow for 8 to 10 hours.

<-----Fully Cooked

Once it is fully cooked pull the pork out and with two forks start to shred the pork roast, by this time you should not have any trouble pulling the pork roast apart, no knife is needed.

<----- Shredded

Put the shredded pork roast back into the slow cooker, leave the broth in the crockpot this will keep it moist.

Serve Carne Asada De Puerco in tortillas, drizzle your taco with lemon, add avocado (sliced or make guacamole), diced onion or grilled onion and cilantro, and or pico de gallo or salsa., you can also make
burritos, nachos, sandwiches, or top a salad.

I also like making some chile toreado ( it's a chile like a serrano or a jalapeno chile that has been toasted on the grill or fried in oil and then toasted on the grill) it cooks it and softens them up it's soooo good.

Enjoy
