Pozole Verde de Pollo (Green Mexican Hominy with Chicken)

Gather your ingredients
3 lbs. chicken I used chicken breast
1 tbsp. Knorr pollo
2 tsp. Ground garlic
2 tsp. Ground cumin
3 c. liquid (chicken broth from boiling the chicken or water)
1/28oz. Hominy
2 tsp. oregano
1 tomatillo salsa (recipe below)

For tomatillo salsa
2 large Roma tomatoes
4 Tomatillo tomatoes
3 Chile serrano
3 Chile jalapeno
1 tsp. Ground cumin
1 tsp. Ground garlic
1 tsp. Knorr pollo
Let's get started
In a medium pot place tomatoes and chiles boil until fork tender once it's tender carefully scoop out and place in a blender add all the spices and a little of the water from the boiled tomatoes and chiles about a 1/4 cup blend until smooth, set aside.

Let's get started on the rest of the meal.
In a pot boil Chicken until cooked through, remove chicken let cool until you can handle it.
Shred the chicken and add it back into the pot with the leftover chicken broth and add tomatillo salsa and the rest of the ingredient (spices) cook 10 minutes.
Serve with (optional) lemon or lime juice just a squeeze, avocado, onion, cilantro, sour cream, cheese, tortilla chips or anything you like.
