Calabaza Con Pollo

Calabaza Con Pollo Gather your Ingredients 2 lbs chicken breast or any favorite part of the chicken you like, boil & shred or cut in bite-size chunks 3 green zucchini, sliced 1 tomato, diced 1 onion sliced 2 tbsp. cooking oil 1 tbsp. knorr pollo 2 tsp. black pepper 1 tbsp. garlic powder 1 tbsp. cumin 2 c. frozen corn or one (15 ounces) can whole kernel corn 1(8 ounces) can tomato sauce Let's get started  In a pot add chicken and fill with water just enough to cover the chicken, boil until cooked through with no pink, set aside once cool enough to handle shred the chicken. Wash all the vegetables Cut the onion, zucchini into round slices and set aside, if the slices are to big cut slices in half. In a large pot add oil,  onion, zucchini saute until onion is translucent, add shredded or bite-size chicken and cook for about 5 more minutes. Biscuits & Sausage Gravy

Biscuits & Sausage Gravy Gather your ingredients 1 Pork Sausage Roll 1/4 c flour 1/8 c butter 2 1/2 c milk 1 tsp. salt  1 tsp. pepper biscuits fresh or store bought Let's get started Bake biscuits While the biscuits are baking in a medium pot on medium-high heat cook sausage and crumble with a spatula into small pieces. Once the sausage is cooked through, sprinkle the flour, salt, and black pepper until sausage has a nice coating.  Slowly add your milk, until you've reached your desired consistency.  If you prefer soupier, add more milk. If you like the sauce to be thicker, add less milk.  If you find you have added too much milk, add flour to thicken it up or make a slur by add a little bit of cornstarch and water mix well then add it to the sausage gravy.  Add more salt and pepper to taste if needed. CrockPot Carne Asada De Puerco Gather your ingredients 3 pounds pork roast 1 cup of water or more if needed 1 bell pepper sliced (seeded) 1 medium onion sliced 1 tbsp. Knorr pollo 1  tbsp.  garlic powder 1  tbsp.  ground cumin 1  tbsp. onion powder 1/2  tsp. cheyenne  1 lemon to drizzle on taco (optional) 1 Avocado (Optional) Tortillas corn or flour or you can use Bollios  Let's get started Turn your crockpot on high and add all of the ingredients above except the pork roast, mix well then add the pork roast. You want the pork roast to be submerged in the liquid if it doesn't look like it's submerged add a little more water to the crockpot or cut the pork roast smaller. Rainbow Pancakes & Rainbow Eggs

Rainbow Pancakes & Rainbow Eggs 2 c all-purpose flour 4 tsp.  Baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 cup  Sugar 1 1/4 cups milk or buttermilk or heavy cream 2 egg 2 tsp. vanilla  1 tsp. oil 5 different colors of food gel 5 disposable cups Use a griddle that is non-stick. Directions In a large bowl, add the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar mix with a Wisk or hand mixer, then add milk, oil, vanilla, and egg mix until smooth. Divide batter equally into the 5 cups and add a few drops of food coloring gel, mix well and add more color if needed until you get the desired color.  Heat a lightly oiled   griddle or frying pan over medium-high heat.  Pour the batter onto the griddle, brown on one side of the pancake, on the top side you will start to see bubbles forming that means pancake is ready to flip over but if you want to keep the color bright then leave it until it dries...

Colored Easter Eggs 1 dozen eggs (boil) 5 different food coloring gel I used Americolor GEL 1 tbsp. vinegar 1/2 cup water for each cup 5 disposable cups In a pot boil eggs until boiled all the way through, peel outer shell, cut in half and scoop out yellow yoke, set aside. In cups, add 1/2 cup water to each, stir in a few drops of food gel coloring and 1 tablespoon vinegar to each cup mix until completely dissolved.  To each cup add egg whites to cup and allow to sit until the desired color is reached.  The longer the egg white is in the dye, the more vibrant the resulting color will be... Rainbow Bow Pasta

Rainbow Bow Pasta 1 lb   Bow pasta or any other pasta cook 5 different Food Coloring I used Americolor gel, this gel is for coloring frosting.  5 Ziploc  bags In a pot bring water to a boil and cook spaghetti to al dente according to package directions. Drain rinse and separate evenly into a sandwich bags, add a few drops  of one of the different coloring into each bag, only one color per bag. Shake and massage each bag of pasta until every pasta is fully coated. Leave in the bag for at least 10 minutes. Place each color of pasta into your colander, one at a time,  rinse under water to remove any dye. Place all of your colored pasta into a bowl and stir together serve plain or top with spaghetti sauce or desired sauce. Tacos Al Pastor   Gather all your ingredients 2 to 3 lbs. pork loin, sliced into thin fillets or cut 3 slices can pineapples drained 1 roma tomato toasted on the grill 1 dried guajillo chiles, seeded 10 dried ancho chiles, seeded 1/2 tsp. Achiote 1 chipotle chile in adobo sauce 1/2 onion, cut in 4 1/2 cup pineapple juice 1/2 cup vinegar 2 whole cloves 1/2 tsp. black pepper 1/2 cinnamon stick 4 cloves garlic peeled 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano 1/2 tablespoon knorr pollo or to taste 1 small pack of mini corn tortillas or regular size will do 1 Blender or food processor Optional in the grease you soften the tortillas cook some chile jalapeno and big green onion buds set aside to eat with the tacos. Polvorones (Mexican Cinnamon Cookies) 2 cups flour 1/2 cup sugar 1 tsp. baking powder pinch of salt 1/2 cup lard (room temp) 1/2 cup butter (room Temp) 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract 1/2 tsp. almond extract Let's get started In a dry bowl add flour, salt, and baking powder, set aside. Line 2 cookie sheets with parchment paper set aside. Get you standup mixer, to your mixer bowl add butter and lard cream until they are well combined, now add the sugar and extracts, mix well, will look a little broken that's fine. Now add flour mixture and mix for 2 minutes, pour dough mixture onto a dry counter, using your hands work and gather the dough to form a ball, cut in half and refrigerate for at least an hour.
